History
Godrej Nature's Basket was founded in 2005 as a world food store and now operates 35 physical stores in cities such as Mumbai, the National Capital Region of Delhi (NCR), Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad. The retail chain sells fresh vegetables, fruits, cold cuts, meats, cheese, organic foods and dairy products.
Today, it also operates as an online grocery store and mobile app platform which caters to 125 cities across India.
Natures Basket acquired Mumbai-based online grocery store Ekstop.com in 2015 to strengthen online presence across 125 cities in India.

Tanya Dubash, is the executive director and chief brand officer at Godrej Group. She is currently on the Boards of Godrej Industries Limited, Godrej Consumer Products Limited, Godrej Agrovet Limited and is the Chairperson of Godrej Nature's Basket.
Avani Davda is the managing director of Godrej Nature's Basket, the retail chain of the Godrej Group. She was the former CEO of Tata Starbucks.

Twinkle Khanna launched the Godrej Nature's Basket Healthy Alternatives brand in Mumbai on 27 September 2016.
Avani Davda, Managing Director for Godrej Nature's Basket revealed the 'GNB Refresh 2020' vision, where the brand will undergo a strategic transformation to grow its revenues by three times, to reach 1,000 crore Rupees by 2020.
